Portfolio
Below are some examples of work I have developed for both freelance clients, and
current and past employers.
Elaines Dancing
One of the first websites I've developed as a freelancer. This website is for a
client who runs their own dancing school in Gloucester, and required a website to
increase interest, and keep members updated on various events within the school.
I have completed some SEO, and the website is on the first page for keywords local
to Gloucester.

leagues to compete against each other in a managed system.

FunPunch
This is a website I develop for my current employer, Marketing Punch. I have been
involved from the first launch of FunPunch, and carry out most of the development
work on this project. I have integrated the website with Facebook, so users can
login via Facebook, share ecards with their friends, and post to their wall. The
website also collects data about users' friends, such as their Birthdays, and makes
it simple for the user to send them an ecard.

YourFunPunch
In order to increase traffic, and provide a secondary revenue stream for FunPunch,
we've developed YourFunPunch. This involved allowing multiple memberbases, and rebranding
of our FunPunch website, and the implementation of a new website to allow clients
to customise, and maintain their own website.

OfferX
OfferX is an ongoing project which I work on alongside two other developers for
Marketing Punch Ltd. Currently my main involvement in this project is increasing
organic traffic through search engine optimisation. We are now ranking in the top
10 for most keywords we've targeted, and my next goal is to increase click through
rates from the major search engine providers.

Goals and Actions
Goals and Actions is a new online tool for setting Goals, and monitoring your progress.
This tool is being targeted at several markets, so the application has been developed
in order to make it as flexible as possible to suit the mass market.
We also have an iPhone application being developed by an external company. This
required communication between our servers and the iPhone application. The solution
was a WCF service over HTTP. This was the first WCF service I've created, and this
experience will definately aid me in future development.
During this project I have:
- Written functional specifications
- Managed development of an iPhone application
- Created a version of the application which is due to be trialed by Cheltenham College
- Built and fully documented a WCF web service to allow secure communication between
external systems.
- Built a robust application to allow setting, monitoring, and achieving goals in
an efficient manner.
This project is a few weeks off completion, and once launched, the next step will
be to optimise the site further through both on-site and off-site SEO practices.
